Mark has a background in chemistry. He holds a Ph.D. from ETH Zurich and a Master of Science in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University. He developed different methods to synthesize phosphorus-based photoinitiators during his PhD at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich (ETH). His methods are now used to synthesize optimized photoinitiators tailored to the application in different medical materials. His key assets are his task-focused attitude, chemical know-how and organizing skills.
