Extrusion degree of a new low-viscosity, injectable, light-cured endodontic filling material: an in-situ study in a cadaveric close-to-mouth experimental model
Clinical Oral Investigations
Extrusion of sealer beyond the root canal can lead to complications delaying or preventing successful recovery. This study evaluates the ability of liquid-injectable OdneFill to remain within the prepared root canals of posterior teeth, comparing its performance against expoy-amine resin applied through Warm Vertical Compaction. Using a cadaveric model, it was observed that OdneFill significantly reduced sealer extrusion, demonstrating better containment within the root canal anatomy compared with the conventional method. The findings underscore OdneFill’s potential as a controlled, efficient sealing solution.
